Jeremy heard Rubix speaking but didn't dare look at him. He looked around for something and heard Rubix say someting about items. "What do you mean items?" He watched as Rubix pulled out a key and thrust it inot Stormy's chest. What looked like venom seemed to seep out of her. It was kind of disgusting.
"What the hell was that mate? Where did you get that anyway?" Jeremy just stared after Rubix as he walked away.

Stormy was trying to follow Rubix conversation, but the boy was clearly a light weight. She signed as she watched him seem as if he was somewhere else, "Soo, your this Starborn, that Gregory was talking about? Cool." She said before Rubix dashed towards her a key in hand and thrust it into her chest. The moment the key entered her body Stormy feel light and calm, as if the key had lifted a huge weight off her shoulders. She felt better, much better, not so cold or empty like. She smiled when Rubix let the key drop to her lap, "That's yours, anyway" She heard him mumble as he walked away.
Stormy lift the key from her lap and smiled down at the gold key, "Nyx." She said in a whispered voice. She was confused suddenly, how did she know the name of this key? And why did this key have a name? Stormy looked over at the glass of rum and drank its entire contents in one swallow.

"What the hell was that mate? Where did you get that anyway?" Jeremy just stared after Rubix as he walked away.
Rubix didn't know how to explain it, so he just plain didn't. "A house elf gave it to me last year. I--" Rubix stopped. An uneasiness went through his body. He didn't fully understand all of this that was happening and he felt almost uncomfortable telling Jeremy and Stormy all of this without actually knowing anything. The vampires were their last hope in knowing what happened and Gregory fully cleared that option out. There has to be other creatures in this world that could know more information.
Rubix turned around and looked at Jeremy, "How long until summer?" he asked.

Jeremy shrugged, "I think we have a week left," he said before muttering, "exams kicking my ass as usual." He looked over at Stormy to see how she was doing.
"How you holding up?" Jeremy asked before returning his attention back to Rubix. "Are you already planning something?"

Rubix's eyes grew wide. He missed a whole year. "No I'm not I'm just," he walked to a near by chair to support himself, not because he was hurt, because he was shocked. "I missed a whole year of school. Holy merlin. I don't know anything, I just wasted my time being all," he did some strange hand movements that probably did not mean anything to Stormy or Jeremy.

Stormy started to grumble once again, Rubix was like a female when it came to getting a straight answer out of him. She looked down at the golden key still in her hand and smiled, it felt warm against her skin, like it was meant to be with her.
"How you holding up?" She shrugged but smiled, "Better now, actually." She didnt know how to explain it but the key seemed to make all the pain that was going on inside her go away.
"Are you already planning something?" She heard Jeremy ask, she eyed both the boys for a moment and took a gold chain she always wore under her robes off and slid the key throw the chain and threw it back over her head, tucking the key safely inside her clothes. "Like what, chasing more vampires?" She asked, more as a joke.

Rubix shook his head and Stormy's question, "No, no vampires. There was a reason for that." He looked at them and then sat in the chair and crossed his legs.
"Starborn is something I recently discovered for myself from the Book of Energy," he then paused and immediately looked down. He just remembered why he didn't want to explain everything right now. Mentioning the Book of Energy in front of Jeremy might not be wise.
Rubix was looking on the floor and spotted a bug and decided that looking at the bug was better then looking at Jeremy right now. He wanted to wait to see what his reaction would be.

Jeremy listened to Rubix start to explain and then The Book Of Energy came up. "It's doing this? Can't we make it stop? Or destroy it? I bet my ass that the book is the cause of all this." Jeremy was fuming but inside he felt pleasure as the book was still out there. He had secretly wanted it for awhile because of it's power. He had delayed trying to find it for no known reason.
"Can we get it?" Jeremy asked hopefully.

"That book again?" Stormy smacked her head, "What does it have to do with this Starborn stuff? Can we read it too?" She asked curios to see what this book had to offer and that had both Jeremy and Rubix foaming at the mouth.

Rubix bit his cheek and puckered his lips, "No mate," he said softly and looked back up at Jeremy. "We can't get it without complications which I have no idea what are the complications." He cleared his throat and sat back in the chair.
"The Book of Energy was made by a 'Starborn'," as he said that he made a quotations signs with his fingers. "I have no idea why the Book is doing what it has in the past if the 'Starborn' is good." He shrugged, "But it's nothing we should worry about unless it, you know, shows up."
